What’s New at Choueiri Group?

On November 10, our Chairman and CEO, Pierre Choueiri, attended the OMGAD26 - Walk to Mars Launch and Partnership signing.

It started with the main sponsors signing ceremony, with each sponsor leader signing with his Excellency Aref Al Awani, General Secretary, Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

Then everyone proceeded to the stage area in the arena, where the official launch of the countdown to the OMGAD26, was launched under the name of "Walk to Mars", under the auspices and in presence of His Highness, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the OMGAD26.

At the end of the ceremony a group picture, of all the main sponsors with His Excellency was taken as well as some one on one picture.

The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 – to be held 6-15 February 2026 – is set to bring together more than 25,000 athletes from around the globe, competing across 30+ sports and including a broad range of age groups, traditional Emirati disciplines and para-sport categories. The event will serve as a platform for health, empowerment, inclusion and community-building.
