On April 14, 2022, Campaign hosted its latest Online Briefing Webinar – Audio 2022 “How Regional Advertisers are Using Different Facets of Digital Audio”. The event looked at all things audio to see what new developments are taking place in this exciting area, and how marketers can leverage audio to best effect.
The first panel explored the fast paced growth of global digital audio spends, and how the region is still shaping the audio scene. This discussion was moderated by Carl Chalhoub (Anghami UAE Senior Sales Manager, DMS), and went on to take a deep look at how advertisers in the field have utilised audio and how they can leverage its many possibilities even better.
The second panel titled “Behind the mic” outlined the current state and future of podcasting in the region. It brought together industry experts who together examined how the medium is expanding rapidly through investments and partnerships. It also looked at podcasting’s adoption of ad tech and at advertising’s adoption of podcasting.
