DMS feature as “Super Partners” at the STEP Conference 2016

Choueiri Group hosts an exclusive VIP reception at the end of the Conferences’ first day
DMS extended its association with the STEP Conference this year, to serve as Super Partners of the event which took place on April 4– 5, 2016, at the Dubai International Marine Club.
The widely attended 2 day conference which witnessed technology, digital and entertainment professionals and entrepreneurs gathering in Dubai served as the e largest interactive gathering of its kind in the Middle East.
STEP 2016 brought together over 4,000 like-minded folks from all over the globe tackling all things Tech, Digital and Entertainment, with a wide selection of the most influential and relevant speakers taking stage on April 4 – 5.
The Conference also served as the largest startup showcase in the MENA region. STEP Startup Basecamp gathered startups from all around the world including MENA, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Startups applied, get shortlisted, and the top ones made it to the final list.
Aligned with its sponsorship of the event, DMS hosted a variety of on ground activities, beginning with some prominent speaking engagements which took place on the DMS Stage on Day 1 (April 4th).
DMS’ Chief Operating Office Michel Malkoun took to the stage to serve on a panel discussion titled “Modern Brands in a Consumer Empowered World”, while Choueiri Group’s Youmna Borghol (Head of Data Science) also featured in a panel discussion titled “Good Data, Bad Data”. Closer to the end of the first day, DMS’ Brendan Walsh (Creative Solutions Director) gave an insightful presentation titled “Is the viral video a myth?”
DMS team members also participated in running best Practice Case Studies workshops on Day 2 (April 5). These were hosted inside the workshop rooms in the main tent and covered a wide range of topics, centered on DMS’ expertise in digital advertising.
The DMS team also welcomed visitors and attendees to the “DMS Thinking Space” booth, situated near to the DMS Stage, as well as to the “Genius Sessions”, where DMS product experts were on hand from 3-4 PM on both days to take guests through “Audiences”, “Programmatic” and “Native”.
Choueiri Group also hosted an exclusive by invitation only VIP Rooftop Drinks Reception at the end of the Conference’s first day (April 4) at 9 pm.This gathering witnessed a select crowd of top speakers and investors from the conference coming together on the Choueiri Group Building’s Roof-Top and reinforced Choueiri Group and DMS’ commitment to nurturing technology, digital and entertainment startups in the MENA region.
