CHOUEIRI GROUP SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS ITS SIXTH BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DRIVE

Hostesses handed out pink bracelets, metallic ribbons and pens to all the supporters (who dressed up in the usual pink or white tops / shirts). At this point, participants were also photographed against a dedicated wall, which carried the campaign’s slogan message: “There is always hope”.
Aimed at generating greater awareness for the Breast Cancer Awareness cause, the drive leveraged the reach of social media interaction to meet its objectives. As Choueiri Group’s teams uploaded all the individual images to a dedicated Facebook campaign page https://www.facebook.com/CGBCAD2017/, all supporters were asked to tag and share their photos to spread the cause to their Facebook friends. In addition to the individual photos, Choueiri Group also coordinated a group photoshoot of the entire team on the rooftop of the Choueiri Group Building at 10:30 AM.
Choueiri Group’s Chairman and CEO Pierre Choueiri expressed his own support for the cause by stating: “Our efforts for greater Breast Cancer awareness come out of a firm belief that early detection saves lives. I am very pleased with the growing participation, which our drive continues to generate, year after year. It is a privilege and an honor to host this initiative”.
Creating greater awareness for breast cancer is crucial for persuading more women to have regular, timely screenings. Survival rates are up because women are becoming better informed, practicing self-exams, and having clinical exams and mammograms on a regular basis.
