Choueiri Group proudly complete a decade as “Title Sponsors” of the Dubai Corporate Games

For the 10th consecutive year, Choueiri Group renewed its Title Sponsorship of the Dubai Corporate Games, as the 12th edition of Dubai’s premier corporate sporting event was held on March 17– 18. The American University in Dubai’s campus served once again as the event’s primary venue, while two other Dubai-based school campuses (GEMS Wellington International School in Al Sufouh and GEMS Wellington Academy on Al Khail Road) were added-on to accommodate the growing number of sporting events and competing teams and athletes which participated this year.

As always, the event welcomed the corporate community to compete in a fun-filled multisport environment, with the aim of promoting comradery, wellness and a healthier lifestyle.


The Football, volleyball, tug of war, fitness competition, tennis, squash, table tennis, swimming, running, FIFA, backgammon and table football competitions were all held exclusively at AUD, while basketball was hosted at AUD, as well as the GEMS International School on Al Khail Road.  This year’s cricket tournament was also played at two different venues with some matches played at the Wellington School on Sheikh Zayed Road and others at GEMS Wellington International on Al Khail Road. The Dragon Boat Race competition was held at the Dubai Intl Marine Club (DIMC), while Badminton was hosted at the Wellington School on Sheikh Zayed Road. An exciting Golf completion was also held at the Faldo Par 3 course at Emirates Golf Club, while Karting took-off at the Outdoor Kartdrome in Motor City. Finally, the Dubai Bowling Center in Al Quoz, was utilized to host the event’s bowling competition.


This year’s games were credited once again as being the largest annual corporate sports and team building event in Dubai and served as the biggest and best yet, with a record breaking number of participating teams and athletes. Choueiri Group’s vibrant teams and athletes participated across all major tournaments, with the Group’s usual dedicated lounge and hospitality area welcoming friends, family-members, fans and supporters throughout the weekend.

Patrick Chucri placed in yet another #1 position placement for Men’s Tennis this year, while, Maged Traboulsy, Omar Moukachar and Christopher Oughourlian respectively won #1, #2 and #3 in Men’s Kart Racing. Touline Shuhrouri and Joelle Yazbeck respectively won the #1 and #2 trophies for Ladies Kart Racing and Bachir Tabib won the #3 prize for Table Tennis. Choueiri Group’s Basketball team “A” was also awarded the #3 trophy.

At the closing awards ceremony, Choueiri Group’s Human Resources Director, Sandra Choueiri was also called-up on stage to award the winning teams and athletes with trophies and medals.  

The Dubai Corporate Games is organized each year by High 5 Events and is held under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council.
