CHOUEIRI GROUP LEADS ANOTHER SUCESSFUL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DRIVE

Directing their fullest attention and support to an extremely needy and very touching cancer patient’s case, the Group picked up on the long-running Lebanese media story related to 13 year old Avedis Krikorian.
As an underprivileged and critical Leukemia patient, Avedis’ family has campaigned tirelessly since January 2018, to raise US$ 150,000 for an urgent lifesaving bone marrow transplant. Despite the heavy appeals and publicity surrounding the case, the family has been unable to secure the funds and have been desperately running out of time and possibly their last chance at saving the little boy’s life.
All participants and supporters were also handed out pink ribbon pins and bracelets, with a Group photo taken atop the Choueiri Group Building’s rooftop. This image along with others related to the day were uploaded to a dedicated Choueiri Group Breast Cancer Awareness Facebook page. Participants were urged to tag, share and spread the message amongst their own circle of friends.
The Group’s donation drive succeeded in bringing together sizable contributions, which were transferred to Avedis’ treatment support fund close to the end of the day.
Thanking everyone for their support, Choueiri Group’s Chairman and CEO, Pierre Choueiri said “I am happy to share that your generosity and contributions to today’s donation drive have resulted in sizable proceeds towards Avedis’s lifesaving bone marrow transplant. I thank each one of you for this tremendous effort, which we hope will make a huge difference to a precious life”.
