Campaign’s Online Briefing: Adtech strategies 2021

With the industry looking ahead to one of the most exciting years digital technology has ever seen, the event welcomed a host of regional experts across two intense, insight-packed panel discussions, focused on the high-tech transformation which Covid-19 has brought about (Consumers under lockdown shifted their media and retail consumption online and brands followed), which heralded a tidal wave of ad tech innovation, which is still going on.

DMS’ very own Daniel Young (Yield Inventory & Programmatic Director) featured prominently on Panel #2 titled “Creativity in Ad Tech” and spoke about the latest in emerging technology and trends, to elaborate on how brands have been challenged by the pandemic and how an abundance of data has fueled a fast forward on many innovative communications solutions including podcasting, digital audio and programmatic. The panel was moderated by Mona Hassanie (Strategy Director, Wunderman Thompson, Dubai) and also featured Beverley D’Cruz (Chief Brand Officer, Pizza Hut Middle East, Africa, Turkey) and Ryan Garner (Performance Director, Starcom).
